Specialist dealer in Australian Pottery (especially Harvey School,) Ceramics, Art Glass and Quality Small Items.
My shop (Number 13) at Empire Revival (previously Paddington Antique Centre,) 167 Latrobe Terrace, has been established for over 38 years now. Previously, it was located in the now closed Brisbane Antique Market at Clayfield. As the owner of Yande Meannjin Antiques, I have firmly established myself as a specialist decorative arts dealer with over 40 years trade experience in World ceramics, Australian pottery (especially the Harvey School,) glass, silver, in fact, most small fine art collectables. A large range of antiques and collectables is always in stock.
I mainly source my stock locally from private sources and am constantly surprised at what turns up, often in the most unexpected places. With over 11 large showcases and a high turnover, stock is constantly changing and the serious decorator or collector realises that a regular visit to my shop is a must.
In addition to my long term experience, I am a Commonwealth approved valuer for glass, ceramics & Australian pottery & glass, columnist for Antiques and Collectables for Pleasure and Profit magazine and have had many articles on art glass and pottery published. Previously I was Secretary of the Queensland Antique Dealer's Association for 20 years and Treasurer of the Antiques and Collectables Society for about 30 years (both now disbanded.)
My special interests include Art Glass and Australian Pottery, especially the Harvey School, and I welcome enquiries from those interested in any aspect of antiques and collectables. Please always feel free to contact me regarding anything in my area of dealing.
I also sell on Ebay under the seller's ID of yande and stax1945 and Antiques Plus. My website is http://www.yande.com.au
